Simple Answer. No. Although links to a site are important, it is also important where the links are from. Aside from links, onsite seo optimization is also important. Now, I am aware that a good incoming link campaign is probably the most important aspect, but what if you screwed up your site so bad that search engines ignored it? That happens sometimes. Even if you are confident in running your own link campaign, it can be well worth the money have a search pro look over your site. one or two small tweaks can often be worth thousands of dollars in visitors. Consider it.

Some time ago I asked my lovely wife, Tinkerbell, “how much should I charge for SEO services?”. Her charming answer was “charge by the pound”. I’ve grown accustomed to sarcasm so I let it go, but the more I thought about it, the more sense it made. Every site is different as is every market. It makes no sense to me advertise your minimum charge for seo as 750 dollars a month. If you own site that sells lamps made out of granola sculptures you should not have to pay that kind of money to rank #1 in Google for such an obscure phrase. Granted, there is not much call for granola lamps, but every market has a different level of difficulty to rank high in the search engines. My basic charge right now is $150 per month. Depending on how much your website “weighs”, determines how many months I will perform seo services at that price or If there is a greater first month charge. You can check out my pricing guidelines on the Prices page. I try to make SEO affordable for everyone, especially sites just starting out. To find out how much your website weighs go to the Contact Page.
